Hey, I'm coming up and taking a newbie boxing. I hate the heat and want to use the Metro. What's walkable and Metro-accessible very early on a Saturday morning?

I highly recommend a Letterboxer's Tour of Georgetown, if you like
urban boxing. Though not very close to Metro you can get on the red
Circulator bus very easily which will take you to and from Georgetown
from K Street. If you get off at North or East Farragut Metro stops,
ask the help people on the street dressed in Yellow and Black, or in
Red, for directions and a free map. The red buses are new, comfy, and
fun.
There are several boxes in Rock Creek Park which you can do walking
between Woodly Park/Zoo Metro and Dupont Circle Metro.
Radio Days and Pandamania - 4th Estate are near Metro and downtown near
the White House. Orion is not very close to Metro but right next to
Lincoln Memorial, etc. if you want to do tourist at the same time.
